Hello Everyone! I hope you are all enjoying the start of Fall and this memorandum finds you well. I am very pleased to announce to you today the creation and implementation of our company intranet website. This website has been in development for several months by many talented individuals within the organization such as George Graham (IT Director – Madison), James Albrecht (Network Administrator – Madison) and Jamey Burns (Web Developer – Madison). These individuals have put so much time and energy into this communication tool and we could not have completed this wonderful task without them.

 

Here is what you can expect to see and find on our company intranet website:

 

  • Announcements
    • We will use this section to make various employee announcements (promotions, new employees, birth announcements) and other various pieces of information to share with all employees
  • Success Stories
    • This section will highlight successes of our graduates
  • Location Directory
    • This will provide you with the address and telephone numbers to all of our locations
  • Trouble Ticket
    • This will allow you to submit a help desk ticket to your local IT department
  • Job Postings
    • This will capture all campus location and AHED open positions
  • File Sharing
    • Once you click on this page, it will provide you with the log-on instructions based on your location.
    • This area will provide you with all of our approved company policies and procedures, by department. This area will also provide our faculty with all approved syllabi for use in the classroom and the opportunity to provide feedback on the curriculum directly to the Curriculum Review Committees.
    • This area will provide you with the opportunity to submit new course and program ideas to the organization, along with curriculum feedback on our courses / programs.
    • Once you are logged into this area, I encourage you to review the “Using Sharepoint” screen to learn how to set up alerts when policies/procedures are uploaded or updated.

 

The website address is https://intranet.ahedschools.com. For security purposes, you will only be able to access the website when you are logged into your computer at work.
