As we embark upon a new and historic year in our company’s history, I wanted to provide all you with our updated employee handbook. Since launching our first ever employee handbook in March 2015, I have received good feedback on our consistent policies and procedures across all of our campuses and locations. Also, I have received some great suggestions through the recent all employee survey for updates to the employee handbook. The below list is just a sample of some of the things we’ve changed in the 2016 employee handbook:
- 4 – Locations: Updated to include our new location in Maumee and AHEC locations
- 8 – Employee Referral Program: All employees have the opportunity to refer eligible candidates for full-time positions and received a $500 referral fee and $100 for adjunct positions
- 11 – Birthday Personal Day: Full-time employees are allocated one additional personal day to be used within the month of their birth
- 7.12 – Vacation: Removed the requirement that vacation must be taken in 4 or 8 hour increments
