NEW 2016 Employee Handbook

Jeffrey Bodimer

Chief Operations / Compliance Officer

As we embark upon a new and historic year in our company’s history, I wanted to provide all you with our updated employee handbook. Since launching our first ever employee handbook in March 2015, I have received good feedback on our consistent policies and procedures across all of our campuses and locations. Also, I have received some great suggestions through the recent all employee survey for updates to the employee handbook. The below list is just a sample of some of the things we’ve changed in the 2016 employee handbook:

  • 4 – Locations: Updated to include our new location in Maumee and AHEC locations
  • 8 – Employee Referral Program: All employees have the opportunity to refer eligible candidates for full-time positions and received a $500 referral fee and $100 for adjunct positions
  • 11 – Birthday Personal Day: Full-time employees are allocated one additional personal day to be used within the month of their birth
  • 7.12 – Vacation: Removed the requirement that vacation must be taken in 4 or 8 hour increments

Everyone is expected to read the handbook and ensure you fully understand the company policies and procedures. Most importantly, if there is something you do not understand, please ask your immediate supervisor, Campus President or send me an e-mail at jbodimer@ahed.com.

Halloween at RCC

On October 29th Rockford Career College celebrated Halloween by having staff and students bring their families to the school for trick-or-treat. Over fifty kids had a great time at the event. Jaiden and her mom, Danielle Harriott, both dressed up as police officers. Jaiden “captured the heart” of the “Hulk Mike O’Herron”. As you can see, staff at Rockford are a real family.
